Assembly & Fitting Instructions
The fixed ceiling cradle has been designed to be mounted on solid ceilings i.e. reinforced concrete.
The product comprises of 5 separate parts which are assembled together using hexagonal socket bolts. You will require an M3, M6 and M8 hexagonal wrench (Allen key) and a pair of pliers to prevent the nut from turning during tightening.
The leg of the cradle has an open U profile which allows all cables from the digital projector to be channelled upwards in an organised fashion to the ceiling.
Assembly Procedure
The narrower channel is located within the larger channel, and adjusted to the desired length. Two M8 nuts and bolts are used to connect both parts.
The cradle is assembled with the top section sitting inside the slightly wider, bottom cradle. M3 nuts and bolts are threaded through the four corresponding holes and slots to connect both parts. The height of the cradle can be adjusted according to height of projector at this stage.
The leg assembly is connected to cradle by aligning the lowest hole in the narrow channel and the holes wings on the cradle. An M8 nut and bolt is used to connect both. The ceiling plate is connected in a similar fashion by aligning the last hole in the widest channel with those in the ceiling plate.
The cradle is fixed to the ceiling using 4 x M8 Raw bolts provided. You will need a hammer action drill and 14mm diameter masonry drill bit to drill the holes, an M8 spanner is provided for tightening bolts.
